This is a beautiful silver plated serving dish from Charles S. Green & Company. It is made in Birmingham, England and stamped EPNS Cogent Plate. Silver plated dishes like this one have always been used to embellish a dining table.
This beautiful object can be used to serve dishes and keep them warm with a lid. In addition, it can also be adapted into two serving dishes by inverting the lid.
