Einar Johansen blue vase and 2 candlesticks | Søholm Blue Series EJ 64 | Denmark 1964

This Einar Johansen blue vase and 2 candlesticks, is a set of the first stoneware series from Søholm: the blue series EJ64. It was Søholms biggest success ever. Designed by Einar Johansen in 1964.

The pieces have a beautiful deep blue glaze developed by Svend Aage Jensen. They have matte brown glaze on the edges, which blends to translucent brown and then on to blue.

The vase is model # 3322 in the EJ64 blue series.
The two egg candlesticks are known as model # 3351 from the EJ64 blue series.
